II BILINGUAL CONTEST FACEPM - RED CROSS
For the second consecutive year Colegio "El Valle" has had the chance to put forward our Primary and first cycle of Secondary Education students to compete in the contest organized by FACEPM (The Federation of Private Schools of Madrid) and by the Red Cross. This year's topic was "Human Rights", and fortunately the event coincided with many of the activities regarding similar issues that are organized by the school every year around this time and which precede our famous Solidarity Day to which we had the pleasure to invite you to attend last Saturday 30th November.

HALLOWEEN PARTY
The whole school had a great time on October 30th. The children and staff came to school dressed up in costumes! We organised a wonderful parade to show off how great everyone looked all dressed up. The children all gathered together to sing different songs.
We all went trick or treating and played different types of games. Tons of witches, vampires, jack-o-lanterns, ghosts, etc, filled the school's playground with an array of colours.
It was a good time for all of our children to explore the customs and cultural holidays of different places around the world.
Trick or Treat Song
Trick or Treat, Smell my feet
Give me something good to eat
Ghosts and Witches Vampires too
Are waiting in the dark for you.
Monsters big, Vampires mean
All show up on Halloween
Walk around trick or treat
Scaring people on the street.

AGRADECIMIENTOS DÍA DE LA BANDERITA
Queremos compartir con vosotros la carta de agradecimiento que hemos recibido en el Colegio El Valle de Valdebernardo por las donaciones hechas a la Cruz Roja el Día de la Banderita, reconocimiento al apoyo dado por todos a este popular evento.

DÍA DE LA BANDERITA DE LA CRUZ ROJA
El día 3 de octubre los Colegios "El Valle" y su Fundación representados por su Director General D. Luis Miguel Rodríguez Zarza y un grupo de alumnos de Educación Primaria y Secundaria y sus profesores acudieron a la mesa presidida por la Su Majestad la Reina Doña Sofía para entregarle los donativos recogidos en nuestra comunidad educativa.
Una vez más los colegios han cumplido con el compromiso adquirido con esta prestigiosa institución.A todos muchas gracias por vuestra participación y generosidad.
